Pros

Really fantastic coworkers, some leads are incredible and helpful. Great benefits. Laptop.

Cons

How you get treated depends on who you work under and no lead has the same expectation as the next. The managers are also inconsistent. The workload became unbearable. It’s very monotonous and the job gets treated like life or death when we’re really just dealing with clothes. Little to no room for advancement unless you are very close with those above you and honestly everything feels cliquish. Also, the free meals were awful and the snacks are crappy (which is such a small complaint but they hype this up so much and if you’re looking for GF organic vegan everything and dry lukewarm food, then you’ll love it. ) They preach using your time off to take care of yourself but in the next breath tell you that taking time off isn’t self care. During the pandemic people were working 10+ hours of overtime and they used small gift cards as motivation but if you weren’t working overtime you were reminded every day how you’re letting the company down and they often floated “mandatory overtime” if OT numbers weren’t what they wanted. Toxic. And this was all during a pandemic.

Pros

- The company started out with good intentions I feel, as we have the ability to set our own schedule and working from home is always a plus.

Cons

- As time goes on, more and more have been taken away from stylists. Our scheduling freedom was removed this year, which was a huge reason most people applied for this job. In other part time jobs, you can usually give shifts away or trade with others, but now you have no flexibility and are expected to work max hours every week. - Stylists have not been given a raise in years and instead are capped after you work here for so long. - Seems like the company is heading in a direction for stylists to be taken over by AI, but we'll see! - You are completely controlled by your metrics, which a lot of times you have no control over because of bad inventory, but will be monitored and put on corrective action + eventually fired if your metrics aren't always where the company wants them to be
