Pros
I loved building relationships with my clients. My team leader was amazing, and I felt like I was really part of a team. When the inventory was great (about 40% of the time), styling the Fixes was a lot of fun. I also loved that I was able to set my own schedule based on my availability, and the company's guidelines.
Cons
About two or three months after I was hired, I received a raise. It was noted that they gave me the raise to match the Southern California market/wages. I thought, "Wow, it's great that they're looking into making sure their employees are paid fairly". Well, 5 months later, I was laid off via email along with the rest of the Southern California employees. The reason that was given? To hire employees in lower-wage areas. We were given the opportunity to move, but only if we reapplied for the job and were rehired.
