Pros

Work from home. That’s literally the one and only pro I can think of.

Cons

Literally everything. The company is clearly planting five star reviews. I’m certain these are coming from the “leadership” team in styling who have nothing better to do then make idiotic graphics about how to find a plus sized client accessories (this is real), writing faux inspirational “live laugh love”/esque emails, or micromanaging their already overworked stylists. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY ENEMIES. -tech issues are constant, but you will always be told that you need to complete the high expectations for sending out the fixes. If you don’t meet the expectations you’ll be gaslit and told you’re incompetent. -leadership is toxic. Top down. There is constant shaming from leads to stylists - leads will shame stylists I’m group chats or meetings of someone speaks up about a challenge. They will reply saying “no one else is saying that” classic gaslighting. They’re positivity rah rah tech culture is completely toxic. This menial job is weighing on my mental health daily. -there is NO inventory. What is advertised, we do not see. The same clothes cycle through year after year. Right now they are pushing us to send athleisure, even if people don’t want it, because they overbought and didn’t plan well. -pay is low for the amount of time and effort it takes to complete anything. If there are tech issues you are expected to take a pay cut and stop working. I was also told that I could “use PTO to cover the difference if tech issues occur” seriously? What other decent company would make their employees use PTO for a problem outside of their control.

Pros

The people you actually work with are actually fantastic humans and brilliant engineers. They're eager to learn, collaborate, and help no matter what level they are or team they're on. You can make real friends here.

Cons

Unfortunately, the business just hasn't been as stable as it used to be. Leadership is always changing something and there isn't as much transparency about those decisions as there once was.

Pros

• I work with genuinely kind, supportive people who are always willing to jump in and help or give feedback to help me grow. • I've had the opportunity to partner with a variety of teams and build meaningful relationships across the business even from a remote setting. • Flexible work environment that allowed for a healthy work-life balance. • I've always felt trusted to manage my workload and bring new ideas to recruiting processes. • Mission-driven culture with employees who truly cared about helping clients feel confident in their personal style. • Great place to develop recruiting skills while working alongside talented and thoughtful teammates.

Cons

• Stakeholder alignment could take time when multiple teams were involved in hiring decisions. • I honestly don't have many cons to share. I can genuinely see myself working at Stitch Fix for many years to come. It's a company that truly values its people, and I'm proud to say I work here when people ask. The culture, mission, and people make it a place where I feel supported, challenged, and excited to contribute every day.
