Pros
Decent pay, team leads are supportive (as much as they can be w/ pressure from above), creatively challenging work for the most part
Cons
After recent changes to scheduling and work requirements, the stylist role is practically unrecognizable from the job I was hired to do three years ago. The flexibility is gone, and the work has become more stressful with so-called technological improvements. I frequently felt like I didn’t have the resources to do my job properly (bad inventory, constant tech issues) and I hated feeling like I was letting down my clients. I used to feel valued as an employee, and now it couldn’t be clearer that the company doesn’t care about stylists (the backbone of the company!) at all. Time for a career change.
