Pros

You can work from home... but honestly, it's not all it's cracked up to be. You work from home with a computer that you've paid for, with the internet that you pay for...but at least you can wear whatever you want.

Cons

The entire job is definitely not as "cushy" as it seems. you do work from home yes and you are a stylist which in theory sounds fun HOWEVER. The inventory system is constantly behind the trend or seasons so it will be may and your still only seeing sweaters to send to clients *who are mostly Karens* and none of that is in your control. The company claims to be "flexible" but they're not. They most recently just eliminated most of the flexibility that was different to PT stylists so you have to work between in the hours of 8-8 and you have to work in consecutive shifts, unlike before when you could work whenever you wanted as long as you work the hours you scheduled yourself. The "leads" (managers) are laughable. I have NO idea what they get paid to do in a week but you hear from them 2 times a week in a mass email that apparently takes them all week to create but I am not sure what else there is for a leader to do. The company is full of white women. They literally expanded regions to Baltimore and Atlanta to "recruit more diverse hires" but like...there is "diversity" everywhere! even the Asian American CEO stepped down so a white woman would step up.

Pros

You are able to work from home

Cons

Very unmotivating work environment. You get a couple of small raisies when you first start but then they cut off raises and expect you to perform at 100% efficiency 100% of the time. There is no motivation to do so. You are basically chained to you desk while you style because everything you do is timed. They provide no tools or stipend for the items you need in order to work from home. No internet stipend, nothing towards your computer, I never even got a pencil after being there 5 years. You have little no interaction with other people. The inventory is poor. Management is always turning over. I think I had about 8 different managers over my 5 years there. They mico manage you. You would think styling would be a creative job but not here. You don't even get to write your own note to a client anymore. AI writes it and you pretty much have to go that route bc you have about 8 minutes to style a client to stay within your efficiency goals. Overall its great that you can work from home but the job is extremely unmotivating and not rewarding. There is no room for advancement. DO yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This is not the company or culture you want.
