Pros
The position is remote so you can work in your pajamas.
Cons
The company culture is toxic. It’s highly performative and gives off an image of being an advocate for their employees and social issues, but they don’t actually care. One benefit to the position was flexibility, but they’ve taken that away. Styling is monotonous and you’re treated more like a machine than a person. They’re always ready to hold the stylists accountable but not themselves. If you have feedback for the company, keep it to yourself - you’ll be told you’re being negative all the while stylists are expected to take feedback with grace constantly. Stylists don’t have the inventory necessary to style half the time (like literally no pants, no tops, etc). They advertise with pieces that make up .05% of the inventory so you’re never able to send them to customers and get blamed for disappointing them. This job had a significant impact on my mental health.
