Pros

There are no pros about working here.

Cons

CEO is so committed to making their Freestyle platform work that she’s blind to obvious holes in the business plan. Stylists are so jaded and unhappy by lack of company consideration that they they make the client experience miserable. There is zero concern for employee morale and they offered the same excuses for lack of inventory the entire time I worked there. Stylists don’t have the inventory they need period. There are weeks at a time where stylists don’t have pants or appropriate tops to send. I spent three months with a single pant or denim option to send to our men’s clients. Stylists are told to take the blame if the algorithm upsets the customer. Stylist tasks are timed minute by minute so you have to take your laptop with you to even use the restroom. Everyone is micromanaged with no consideration to reality. For instance, a stylist will be forced to send something a client has avoided because there isn’t sufficient inventory to meet their preferences for five people. We were told for months that our jobs were safe and then abruptly laid off.

Pros

- The company started out with good intentions I feel, as we have the ability to set our own schedule and working from home is always a plus.

Cons

- As time goes on, more and more have been taken away from stylists. Our scheduling freedom was removed this year, which was a huge reason most people applied for this job. In other part time jobs, you can usually give shifts away or trade with others, but now you have no flexibility and are expected to work max hours every week. - Stylists have not been given a raise in years and instead are capped after you work here for so long. - Seems like the company is heading in a direction for stylists to be taken over by AI, but we'll see! - You are completely controlled by your metrics, which a lot of times you have no control over because of bad inventory, but will be monitored and put on corrective action + eventually fired if your metrics aren't always where the company wants them to be
