Pros

You get to work remotely and the scheduling is flexible. Those are legitimately the only pros left to working here.

Cons

I used to love my job and working for this company. Now though? They have taken what made this a great place to work and done nothing but make it awful. I had so much hope when I started here but it is gone now. They pretend like they care but they do not in the slightest. You are constantly de-valued as a stylist but gaslit into believing the company wants you. They pretend to care and will refer to you as the "main character" and "hero" of the organization, yet will do nothing but disrespect you. They under-value us, under-pay us, and I cannot wait to leave this company. I have worked for many corporations in the past and they do not care about you, but Stitch Fix pretended too and maybe they even did at first. Now though? They just gaslight like I said. It is like being in a toxic relationship where one minute they are all nice and complimentary, but the next minute they are degrading you. There is no room for growth because of where the company is financially, you can look it up yourself. I also cannot say how I know, but I know for a fact that they do not believe stylists are capable of having positions higher in the company. We are not paid enough for what we do, nor given the proper inventory to do our jobs. Despite this, they continue to cut the time in which we are given to style Fixes. They also blame us constantly for everything going wrong with the company because HQ has an accountability allergy. They de-value us to the point where if you compare our severance to the severance of any other position at the company, it is insulting. I understand they could theoretically give us nothing, but they basically do in comparison to everyone else at the company. To be clear, even before this severance debacle, I was thinking of writing this review because I had become so sick of this company. Literally, the stress of my job was causing me physical health issues. The severance pushed me over the edge. Stylists are really not even the ones in charge of styling at this point. I cannot elaborate further. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I would also like to point out that our current CEO is Matt Baer not Elizabeth Spaulding. I still disapprove of him.

Pros

- The company started out with good intentions I feel, as we have the ability to set our own schedule and working from home is always a plus.

Cons

- As time goes on, more and more have been taken away from stylists. Our scheduling freedom was removed this year, which was a huge reason most people applied for this job. In other part time jobs, you can usually give shifts away or trade with others, but now you have no flexibility and are expected to work max hours every week. - Stylists have not been given a raise in years and instead are capped after you work here for so long. - Seems like the company is heading in a direction for stylists to be taken over by AI, but we'll see! - You are completely controlled by your metrics, which a lot of times you have no control over because of bad inventory, but will be monitored and put on corrective action + eventually fired if your metrics aren't always where the company wants them to be
