Pros

I am in my mid 30's and have been with the company for 10 years. I chose this job because you were not stuck with one duty day in and day out. You are a sales rep and a project manager, a very hands on position that allows you to stay in control and see a project from start to finish. I have found that this allows for the opportunity to develop a strong relationships with the customer which in turn grows a book of business. Stonhard has provided many tools for success in assisting with the sales and project installation side and are always actively trying to provide more. A great place to work if you are willing to put in the work!

Cons

Reflecting back, I took the advise of a 30 +year employee at the time, he said, "Give this job 3 years and you won't find a better company out there". The first 3 years were tough, challenging and often very frustrating. You are learning the products, learning to manage your time and learning to be a project manager. Stonhard asks allot of you, but the reward is for those that stick it out.

Thank you for the positive note! We appreciate your feedback and are happy you are enjoying working here at Stonhard. Being able to have our sales reps double as project managers is one of the best ways to show The Stonhard Difference to our customers and continue the relationship building we are used to seeing with our 95% repeat business. Hopefully you will be able to share the message that the 30+ year veteran was able to instill in you; there is no better company to work for and your hard work now will lead to a long, successful career in the future.
