Pros

Amazing peers and teammates across most teams, especially at the IC level. Great company perks and benefits.

Cons

Growth is impossible because management and leadership changes so frequently. This leads to overwhelming burn out for IC's and ultimately really high rates of churn because no one's really cared for on a personal level. Internal team culture was sad because the teams were staffed with such amazing people that then were just exhausted and frustrated all the time. Promotions and raises are empty promises every year, year after year until people just give up, which is honestly just sad to watch happen to great people. People get laid off fairly regularly, for really no reason at all. I've watched some of the most talented creatives and engineers I know get chopped out of nowhere, creating a really uneasy sense of unrest internally.

Pros

The main pros are that there are actually some really brilliant people who work here. They are intelligent, funny, and have an actual clear vision of how things should be done to deliver a great product to users.

Cons

The cons are that leadership only believes in and genuinely elevates white male voices. Sure, there are ERGs and prominent people of color at the company. But the real decisionmaking power is made by a combination of certain "golden boys" and their buddy, Claude. The ones driving the ship actually lack critical thinking skills.
