Pros

Strava was the most fun place I have ever worked. Building for athletes was fulfilling, but building along side co workers who love to spend their time outside of work running and riding bikes together is what makes this place special. It is easy to create long lasting friends here, and work life balance it actually real here.

Cons

Sometimes, it felt like the company lacked urgency compared to other places I have worked. At times product direction/vision was all over the place.

The main pros are that there are actually some really brilliant people who work here. They are intelligent, funny, and have an actual clear vision of how things should be done to deliver a great product to users.

Cons

The cons are that leadership only believes in and genuinely elevates white male voices. Sure, there are ERGs and prominent people of color at the company. But the real decisionmaking power is made by a combination of certain "golden boys" and their buddy, Claude. The ones driving the ship actually lack critical thinking skills.
