Pros

Remote work flexibility Salaries used to be top of market

Cons

Management does not effectively manage. The strategy seems to be hire fast and hold regular large-scale layoffs when they've glut their numbers, Constantly changing priorities led to little success and lots of frustration. No thoughtful growth prospects for high performers. Many high performers essentially wither and die because leadership does not effectively develop talent. No clear financial measures shared with the company. Leadership says company is doing fine, then lays off 70+ people and say it's a long term "strategic decision". Happened three times in two years.

Thank you sharing your experience at Strive. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the remote work flexibility and competitive salaries, but we're also sorry to hear about your frustrations. We are working to improve communication and ensure our growth aligns with our long-term goals. Strategic decisions that impact our team are never made lightly and we're continuously listening and implementing feedback on how we can provide more transparency around our goals and financial performance. Additionally, supporting and retaining high performers is also a priority, and we're enhancing our career development programs to better empower our team, like the KHAR program. We appreciate your feedback and if you'd like to share more, feel free to reach out to us directly at peopleops@strivehealth.com.

Pros

Pros: The only real benefit was gaining experience in a fast-paced care coordination environment. It helped build multitasking skills, and a few coworkers were genuinely helpful.

Cons

Cons: My experience was dominated by what felt like excessive micromanagement and a very inconsistent management culture. There was a noticeable lack of fairness in how employees were treated, and it often felt like favoritism influenced who was supported or given opportunities to advance. There also appeared to be a pattern where internal relationships and personal connections within the department had more influence than actual performance, which made it difficult to feel like growth was based on merit. Communication from care coordinator leads was another major issue. Despite expectations for staff to respond quickly and professionally, urgent messages, call-outs, and escalations were often ignored or significantly delayed by leadership. This created unnecessary stress and left employees without support when it was needed most. Overall, the environment felt disorganized at the leadership level, with poor communication, uneven management practices, and a lack of accountability.
