Pros

Besides having longevity in the industry suburban propane has 24 hour customer service which is beneficial 12 customers. In my 21 years working in The petroleum industry I know that suburban propane’s reliability was a top selling point.

Cons

In providing such excellent service there has to be a balance with the number of employee to customer ratio. Making sure that the company recognizes its employees hard work goes a long way when, appreciation is a snowball effect that benefits all especially the Customer.

Great PTO and flexible scheduling

Cons

Falsified W2s by adding more money to them then I actually made, or never actually paid me what they say they did. Cancelled health immediately instead of running it to the end of the month yet still took the premiums out of my last check. Very low pay for the position. Zero care for employee. Over work since always understaffed. I did the job of at least three people, all the while making less than the new guys that only did one thing. Never promote from within, always hires from outside. No growth in company.
