Pros
-Workplace culture was overall very nice. An actually inclusive company and largely friendly people. -Appreciative of good work. I received an award for my work even though I hadn't been working there a full year. -The team I worked with was overall good (for exceptions see cons below) -Remote work focused!!! This was crucial to me and they are very focused on this with many remote employees. I never felt left out or like I was being sidelined in favor of local employees. In addition I had no worry about sudden forced in office work. -Overall I just really liked working here. The hours were reasonable and I never felt taken for granted.
Cons
-Pay below average for an East Coast company -Management can be overly demanding of "engagement" outside work duties (whether this is an issue for you personally might vary however!) -They weren't able to find me another contract when mine ended early despite telling me my work was very good. This might just come with the consulting territory though. -My team lead and I clashed sometimes. -An upper management that nagged us about being on camera. -Not great PTO.
