      Benefits are amazing. Compensation is great.

      Cons

      Very little growth opportunities. Nearly every branch manager is an external hire. Poor branch management. Some branches see their whole staff quitting and it's not addressed.

      Pros

      Very positive atmosphere & welcoming during training period at HQ. Trainers are very knowledgeable & easily approachable. Staff at branch are also very supportive & helpful with continued training. Company as a whole is very invested in the wellness of their members & employees equally. Best decision I made in going back to financial industry after being in retail 25+ years. Summit definitely listens to their employees & is very open to many ideas on how to better the credit union. I have enjoyed company meetings & celebrations, they really keep you engaged in the networking functions or training sessions. Highly recommend.

      Some branch locations not available in certain areas. But I know we are still growing and will eventually expand.
