      Mission-driven financial cooperative where you can find meaningful work with great people coming together for a positive impact in financial lives. Led by a game-changing, visionary CEO who also advocates for consumers nationally. It's fast paced, exciting and internal hiring is common. Financial education is available for all employees. Benefits are great --from birthday with pay to student loan payment support to great health insurance and a 401k match.

      Cons

      Sometimes fast paced to a fault -- meaning potential stretches where work volume is high and/or changes are quick -- the occasional down side of this innovative, leading and always improving credit union.

      Pros

      Very positive atmosphere & welcoming during training period at HQ. Trainers are very knowledgeable & easily approachable. Staff at branch are also very supportive & helpful with continued training. Company as a whole is very invested in the wellness of their members & employees equally. Best decision I made in going back to financial industry after being in retail 25+ years. Summit definitely listens to their employees & is very open to many ideas on how to better the credit union. I have enjoyed company meetings & celebrations, they really keep you engaged in the networking functions or training sessions. Highly recommend.

      Some branch locations not available in certain areas. But I know we are still growing and will eventually expand.
