Pros

Cons

Sun Life has long been recognized for its strong legacy and people-centric culture. However, in recent years, there has been a noticeable shift. New leaders have joined the organization who appear less focused on team well-being and more on their own individual success. This has contributed to a chaotic and unsettled environment. Moreover, some of these leaders seem to be creating roles to bring in people from their previous organizations—often with similar approaches and attitudes—further intensifying the disruption. It’s unclear how HR and senior leadership are addressing these changes. What’s particularly concerning is that we already have two strong leaders within our team who have consistently driven success and stability over the years. Their efforts and proven track record deserve recognition and support in navigating this transition.
