Pros

Outstanding PPO health insurance plan. Good pay, quarterly and annual bonus. Very relaxed office culture in all facilities (TX and CA). Some great leaders in other departments.

Cons

Unclear and lack of direction for what their focus, goals, values, and vision is moving forward. Everyone and I mean everyone is overworked, departments understaffed, and only the favorites will get promoted. No work-life balance. Weekend and after hours calls the norm here. Recent major layoff in EMEA. Product is way too expensivie.

Pros

The people at SunPower/BlueRaven were some of the funnest people to work with. I built a lot of great relationships there.

Cons

When SunPower was purchased by TJ Rodgers, he came in and was telling everyone how he was going to turn the whole company around and that "because he's a billionaire he knows how to make it happen" -- Well.. over the span of about a year he laid off about 70% of the company and tried to make other independent contractors so he didnt have to give them a base. The whole company dynamic changed and I now have yet to speak to any former colleagues who enjoyed being there. - Its very toxic now.
