Pros
The occasional free lunch I guess
Cons
Very underpaid job for the amount of work and stress you are put under at times. No room for growth, 3 other people not including me have quit the position in less than a year lol, doesn’t that tell you enough…it is a temporary position. Too many people in upper management that are out of touch with their employees, poorly designed job, favoritism. I had to do a lot of things that were other people’s jobs because we were understaffed a lot/pressured… even with the ever increasing responsibilities there were no talks of raises. On top of answering all the phone calls, greeting all the customers, fixing random things, doing returns, helping with so many issues with products, and the showroom, basically running the store, answering all the voicemails, You are expected to help clients when it’s busy, but make no commission/compensation for your efforts. Not to mention there is constant drama from immaturity that just kills your mood. The only good part was the occasional free lunch. They have lost a lot of good people and I’m glad I left because I had something better waiting for me. Overall there were some good times with the events and stuff, other than that, I didn’t enjoy my time here but am grateful for the opportunity and learning experience.
