ESOP for hourly and their recognition for associates

Cons

No lay-off philosophy creates a culture that encourages leaders to make poor decisions such as: move associate to another location 1.5 hours from their home, micromanage your team to make them leave, priorities become focused on no n value add items, etc

Pros

Friendly coworkers, lots of holidays off, year end shutdown.

Cons

Low pay. Lots of office politics. Your merit increase is based on how well you are liked - not how well you perform. If you don’t fit the Swagelok mold you will have a hard time advancing. It’s almost looked down upon to be an external hire.
