Pros
Swagelok is not just a company, it is a lifestyle. The core values are amazing and (for the most part) every employee utilizes them in life as well as at work. The compensation is slightly more than fair for the workload. Since Continuous Improvement is a core value, many employees have continued training in all aspects of the company - or at least the opportunities to expand their knowledge within the company. The employees are regarded similar to family when it comes to life events. You will feel valued if you are putting in the work to be valued - and present that you are valuable.
Cons
Smaller employee pool so conflicts can occur just like they do in family situations - and conflict resolution is not always presented after complaints are made. A large knowledge pool and several years in the company may not earn you any promotions or advancement. If you aren't forward and 'loud' about your achievements they will more than likely be missed or overlooked. Any advancement opportunities are slow to come due to the small number of positions available.
