Pros

This is a great learning experience, and the other ITSAs and ITS staff are super knowledgeable and great to work with. Seems a bit hard at first, but you'll quickly get as knowledgeable as the Swarthmore community expects you to be.

Cons

The busy hours are hard, especially at the start of the school year when we have to help new students set up their WiFi connections, or supply printer toner and paper to all dorms.

The staff is incredibly fortunate to be able to work with such a smart student body and alumni community.

Cons

Overall staff size is small, making upward movement difficult, but if you know that going in, you can still get a lot from the work experience. On the downside, with a smallish staff, poor managers can wreak havoc.
