Pros

payed weekly. that is it.

Cons

Swing makes its money by contracting with the most in need of subs school districts. So you have to deal with more behavior issues, poor to non existent staff support etc. plus you are subject to a review/feedback system by the same staff. Its a set up for failure. Pay is about the same as working for the school system directly.

We're sorry you weren't happy with your experience at Swing. We contract with private, public and charter schools, and you always have the opportunity to change the schools you're linked to or to not accept assignments at schools you don't like. Our feedback system goes both ways. Schools can give feedback on substitutes and substitutes can give feedback on schools. If you believe you've been given inaccurate feedback by a school, please contact Swing Support and to share your side of the story. -The Team at Swing Education

Pros

Flexible Lots of opportunities Many schools in my area

Cons

Just like the other review, I noticed that around march/ April they dropped the pay significantly?? Some requests are even below minimum wage and I’m confused why they’re even allowing that to happen. I just don’t understand what happened to them I did also have some negative run ins with staffing at some of the school and unfortunately swing will always take their side no matter what. I learned to just escalate the issues to the school district/ superintendents.
