Pros

This is a decent company if you can get work done and don't mind jumping from high priority to high priority job task. Fighting fires instead of mitigating plant problems. It offers a lot of hands on learning if you are up to it. There is a 9/80 schedule that is implemented during some of the slow months in the summer but that is not guaranteed from year to year.

Cons

Syensqo presents itself as a technically capable organization with some favorable policy perks, but the environment poses challenges for new engineers. The company relies heavily on in-plant experience to build knowledge and have a old way of working. They want engineers onsite rather than allowing flexible schedules. With limited formal training, inconsistent work processes, and a culture where nearly all work items are treated as high priority. This creates an uneven learning curve for newcomers and can lead to misaligned priorities and mistakes because of the lack of oversight.

Pros

There were little to no pros. This place is a nightmare. The management is the lowest you can find.

Cons

Everything. This place is completely upside down.
