Good program for the students but not great for employees - Tutor Sylvan Learning Centers Employee Review

Flexible hours, great work environment.

Managing the kids is difficult at times.

I enjoyed the work I did do. Working with the children and helping with teachers was fun and I got to socialize quite often with staff and students.

I was fired for missing one shift because my mother ended up in an accident. I did not get to explain myself for missing said shift and was told to think about my actions for 4 days before being let go. Extremely unprofessional.
