      Pros

      Great staff, great students. Corporate was very supportive and listened to what was happening in centers to make things more effective.

      Cons

      If you are working as a part time teacher at Sylvan, your hours are in the hands of the parents. If there are not enough students to teach, teachers hours get cut. Not fair to teachers, I understand but important to do as a Director.

      Pros

      I enjoyed the work I did do. Working with the children and helping with teachers was fun and I got to socialize quite often with staff and students.

      Cons

      I was fired for missing one shift because my mother ended up in an accident. I did not get to explain myself for missing said shift and was told to think about my actions for 4 days before being let go. Extremely unprofessional.
