      Pros

      I really enjoyed the people I worked with and the atmosphere. It was rewarding to watch students' build their skills and confidence and hear of their progress in school. If you're looking for part-time work (retired, need a second income, etc.) this would be a great fit.

      Cons

      Part-time, typically you only work around 12 hours a week, if that. Maybe more in the summer. Pay is low, $10/hr. This is for state certified teachers.

      Pros

      I enjoyed the work I did do. Working with the children and helping with teachers was fun and I got to socialize quite often with staff and students.

      Cons

      I was fired for missing one shift because my mother ended up in an accident. I did not get to explain myself for missing said shift and was told to think about my actions for 4 days before being let go. Extremely unprofessional.
