Pros
You get teaching experience for school aged children from 4-18 years of age. Occasionally you get a client that is older. Its great for students who want some ECE experience with a set curricula to work from easing the difficulty of creating your own. Its a good short term-job for prospective teachers.
Cons
Its hard to be a creative teacher. They have their own curricula and style that wont be good for neurodiverse students or teachers. As a manager and teacher there is a lot of paperwork and parent interviews. The parents, much like in the normal school system think they know what is best so that's a small minefield.
