      Pros

      Sylvan Learning in Hamilton changed ownership over 3 years ago and I have been an employee ever since. The atmosphere is professional, encouraging and motivating. I love working here and seeing that "ah ha moment" with all of our students.

      Cons

      Hours can be long for full-time staff, but time management is key.

      Pros

      I enjoyed the work I did do. Working with the children and helping with teachers was fun and I got to socialize quite often with staff and students.

      Cons

      I was fired for missing one shift because my mother ended up in an accident. I did not get to explain myself for missing said shift and was told to think about my actions for 4 days before being let go. Extremely unprofessional.
