Pros
Synack employs some of the most talented technical people I’ve ever worked with. The company actively fosters a supportive and collaborative community where everyone has a valuable opinion and the chance to develop and implement their own ideas. Synack has seamlessly adapted to the remote working requirements of the last year and many of my virtual colleagues are now my virtual friends too. Synack are at the cutting edge of the IT security market and continue to develop in new exciting ways. Although fast paced, the work is fun and challenges you to learn and contribute something new every day.
Cons
As the company transition from start-up to upscale, it remains to be seen if the culture will endure or become bogged down in the usual corporate drudgery that afflicts most larger organisations, although initial signs are good. There is still a lot to be done on some of the backend systems to scale effectively which although a con to users, is a major pro for those involved in developing new offerings.
