Pros

Synchrony is a great company to work for, their benefits are amazing. The amount of paid time off we receive far exceeds most companies. They allow either a spouse or donestic partner of either gender to be on your health insurance. Both male and female employees receive paid maternal/paternal leave. The management is extremely supportive and employee moral is a top priority. And so much more! If you have or are planning for a family or have a family this is a great place to be.

Cons

The job itself really, customer service can be tough. You're taking back to back calls and people can be rude....to put it nicely. But there's plenty of room to move around in the company and opportunities for non-customer facing roles.

Great benefits, fully remote, my fellow employees are great to work with.

Cons

The systems constantly lag and freeze, making an already stressful job even harder. You’re expected to handle the work of multiple roles while meeting unrealistic metrics and learning countless procedures. Calls are often back-to-back, and the two-minute breaks during busy times aren’t enough to recharge. Dealing with verbally abusive customers is common, and you’re required to give multiple warnings before ending a call. While there are opportunities to move into other roles, promotions often feel more dependent on who you know than your actual skills or performance. Overall, it’s a mentally exhausting, high-stress environment.
