Pros
Good benefits, Swiss company. Tries to do the right thing overall.
Cons
Heavy beaurocracy, mired in politics and inertia. With few exceptions, extremely poor technical leadership. Immature managers promoted based on the Peter Principle. No attention to career development and few opportunities for growth. You are supposed to be grateful to have a job there. People stay There forever, which disincentivizes them to learn, grow, and adapt to change. Promotions are not based on qualifications or skills, so management is erratic and mercurial. Decision making is irrational, and colored by personal whim, self interest, and politics - not the betterment of the organization or its strategic vision. Thus the company itself suffers and will continue to struggle to keep up with its competitors. Pay is not competitive with the market in the U S.
