Pros
Synopsys has reasonable work/life balance and decent compensation. The people are high quality if not energetic. The culture has integrity. The company is stable and you can work here happily for years.
Cons
There is some politics at the mid-management level. Different business units operate with barely any coordination between them, despite having the same customers. The company is slow-growing, with most of the management positions filled and little employee turnover, so career development speed is not on pace with a startup.
