Synopsys develops good tools and honestly tries to make them better. The work is interesting. Senior management is mostly forthright about where the company is going.
Cons
The senior people are in place at Synopsys, so there is little oppertunity for career growth. The business units eschew risk, so don't expect anyone to let you try something risky that the marketplace might not expect.
