Too many political circuses happening during my time Too many vying for power Many engineer are just physically there. Co trying hard to cut cost. You would have lost 1 review/pay raise cycle if you have been there 10 years or more, due to review getting delayed company wise. If you are good at what company wanted from you, you have no Life-Work-Balance. mastering the art of doing engineering work with your mouth help moving up the hierarchy (fast)
