Pros
Mediocrity wins the day! If you don't want to work hard, you make mistakes, or you just don't care, this is the place for you! Benefits are pretty good - better if you are in an exempt position.
Cons
Pay is WAY BELOW the regional average for the work you are expected to perform. Bachelor's degree required for jobs that pay $14-$18/hour. Not even close to fair for the job responsibilities and skills required. Management is CLUELESS. Salary increases are the bare minimum (1%) for non-exempt employees and are not performance-based. Reviews aren't read by anyone in the organization and have nothing to do with salary increases. Raises are based on favoritism. Promotions are non-existent. Non-exempt employees are treated poorly by exempt employees. There is definite discrimination among exempt and non-exempt staff. Pay does not match the skills and education required to perform job duties. If you do a good job, your reward will be more work without the pay increase that should accompany the work increase. Non-exempt employees pay more for some benefits that are included in exempt employees benefit packages. Salaries are so low that they offer a "Schedule B" payment plan for people who are paid so little that they can't afford their benefit package.
