Poor leaders - Anonymous employee TDS Telecommunications Employee Review

Pros

The benefits were great & flexibility to work from home

Cons

The company prides itself on strong leaders and valuing their employees, but does not follow through. Human Resources, especially. One of their leaders acts in a way that makes others feel less than, unless they are one of her "favorites." Favoritism runs high on this team. The employee's are blamed for poor management and expectation setting versus coaching the manager. Isn't HR supposed to work with their employees to make them successful and when things aren't going well, isn't that what PIP's are for? Instead rash decisions are made on the basis of said leader's personal distrust.
