Pros

TFI- great investment in the organization TFF, upgrading facilities and equipment with great veracity New Ownership doesn't have the desire to own the LTL space, therefore becoming a niched carrier is going to produce a healthier level of work/life balance Comparable salary structure compared to peers in the industry / however has been deteriorating since leaving UPS's umbrella

Cons

Benefits to non-union mgmt. and staff aren't anywhere close to what was obtained as part of UPS. Seemed to be no appetite to really change the narrative either as the transition ensured- "it is what it is" mentality Organization has had a culture of a "good-ole boys club" and thus lacks a clear cut, decisive career development program- and seems to not want to invest in such a process Union labor environment breeds discontent in between teams, and disincentives hard work. Bonus structure is paltry in comparison to XPO, and other non-union carriers. Front Line Mgmt. typically work a 11 hour day (Nationwide) and deserve a larger slice of a STIP award.

Pros

The compensation structure is pretty good

Cons

Benefits are bad and expensive, and employee morale was rough. Work-life balance was pretty terrible, and opportunities for advancement were continuing to be cut.
