Pros
I've been with TMC for several years now and have appreciated that above all, they're willing to listen and sincerely consider employee concerns. Back during COVID when the industry was tumultuous, TMC paused 401K matching. I didn't ever expect that to change- but a year or so later, they kept their promise and brought that matching back.
After hearing that employees were concerned about PTO accrual, TMC changed the accrual brackets so that you get more PTO sooner in your tenure and they also added a floating holiday.
I've consistently been given the opportunity to grow and learn, and I appreciate that TMC treats me like a valued member of the team. I've never felt like decisions have been based purely on their bottom line- TMC seems to genuinely care that employees are cared for and treated well.
Cons
Although I know it's not always financially feasible, benefits related to parental leave (or company-paid short term disability) would be very helpful to those who choose to grow their family.
