Annett holdings own a majority of the company, so it's not really employee owned at all. They turn over non tenured drivers to feed the ESOP plan, it's part of their business plan. Very deceptive. You will have to self tarp 95% of your loads, and most of their tarps are in very poor condition. Trailer swaps numerous times per week, which means transferring everything including dunnage. Management and safety department are completely incompetent. Rules change constantly, so you're never sure what's right. They complain at drivers constantly, and encourage drivers to report each other, while paying lip service to how important the drivers are. It's an incredibly toxic environment. I left to drive no touch dry van, and I'll make 25-30 percent more than I ever made with them. It was the most miserable 2 years I ever spent on any job. Please, do not waste your time with TMC!
