TRC has many leading national experts in the field so the opportunity to work with or along side them (if possible) is extremely valuable. The company has a large portfolio of different and interesting projects which allows for the chance to gain good consulting experience.
Cons
Pay is below below industry average. Salary increases do not happen, sometimes for several years on end despite workload increase. Despite many years of experience among senior level staff, management skills are lacking - they are definitely not leaders. Corporate senior staff are often seen as catty and unprofessional. The organization is very top heavy and tends look outside of the organization for more senior positions rather than promoting within limiting the chance for employees to establish a career path.
