I don't even wanna tire my self listing them all but just a few
Work is life mindset grinds everyone into a paste but the Taiwanese folk unfortunately have to eat it because its one of the better opportunities they have.
Safety culture coming from a few other places is absolutely ABYSMAL from just complete disregard for LOTO to not even being able to traverse the floor of the fab in our areas due to so many tiles missing and what felt like 38000 folks from other workers/contractors/managers walking around etc. (Majorly influenced by alot of tool move ins etc)
Absolute loss of worklife balance. Working 12s can be taxing on the day to day basis but alot of our days consisted of having to go back into the fab 5-10 min left in our shift to do pms even though ns was there to cover. Typical days hit easy 14 hour + days plus factoring in a drive to and from it really wasnt adding up even with being on a compresses schedule.
Overall the company has many many many years to improve how to do things, how to treat folk, even just how to operate efficiently.
Lastly to mention the overall complexity to complete mundane tasks was insane, i counted over 40+ programs needed to just operate as a tech, with that being said some programs were only used to grab one piece of information which could lead to you trying to write a report on something while having 15 things open etc etc. Just to me coming from other companies i dont think ive seen something so un organized.
