We value your feedback. At TSMC, we are committed to creating a workplace where all employees feel supported and included. We understand the importance of open, two-way communication and have implemented several initiatives to support non-native speakers and promote DE&I. We offer language support programs, cross-cultural experience workshops, and communication channels to ensure everyone, regardless of language proficiency, can actively participate and contribute. We also provide robust learning resources and career development opportunities to help all employees flourish. If you are comfortable with sharing more about your experience, we encourage you speak directly with the HR representative assigned to your department or utilize the "Ombudsman System" which can be found within the Employee Voice Channels.

Pros

Nothing to note of pros except for 2.5x pay on holidays.

Cons

Horrible work culture, 13 hour shifts (they said it would be 12 but it varies on department), training lacks depth and true mentorship. Employees with higher seniority can say anything they want (like curse in your face and say serious insults about your ability while taking no accountability for their training). If you work OT they hate it and will get on you for it. If you leave the workplace because your shift is over but other technicians are still working on tools— you are expected to stay even if it drives you into OT. Everything about their structure is set up for a lose-lose situation. Many other cons.
