Pros

The turnover there is very low and many people like it. I suppose it's a ok job for someone who has not had any secondary schooling. The benefits are pretty standard, the average worker is friendly. Just don't expect much from management

Cons

My first week on the job was my managers last week, who had only been working there for a year. That should have been a warning. TTM is very set in their way of doing things. Don't expect any recognition for going above and beyond. Some positions require a lot more physical effort than others and the pay rate does not reflect the company's appreciation for the more physically demanding jobs. The have a ridiculous rule that nobody can sit down on the production floor. Sounds like a semi-reasonable rule, but when your on your feet for 12 hours day in day out with required overtime, and no rubber floor mats, to sit for a single minuet while waiting for the machine to be ready make a world of difference. On top of that the rules seem to only apply to some, as other stools and chairs are visible in other parts of the factory. When management's attention was brought to situation I was told that even if I had doctor certified accommodations they said that they would not honor it. It's a multinational company and and their corporate culture dose not appreciate the little guy. Sure they have golf outings and they themselves on the back with very gimmicky HR nonsense.
