Pros

• Some great colleagues who are committed to their work and supportive. • Opportunities to work on a variety of marketing tasks, including digital content creation, social media management, and project profiles.

Cons

• Extremely heavy workload with no compensation adjustments or promotion path. Despite handling a range of duties that fall under a marketing manager’s role, I was still treated and paid as a coordinator. • Lack of leadership support and appreciation. Requests for career growth and recognition often fell on deaf ears. I was encouraged to meet “annual goals,” but no real path forward was offered. • High turnover and low morale within the team. In my six months there, multiple team members left or moved to competitors. • Inequity in workload distribution, which was disregarded by HR even after being brought to their attention. This created an environment that felt dismissive and, at times, unfair. • Micromanagement from unqualified leadership that limited the ability to work autonomously and grow.

Pros

The best part of working here is how supportive the management team is. Open-minded, ready for new ideas, they provide all needed support and cheers for the ambitions of the employees. This in my opinion is one of the most important things an employer can offer.

Cons

Not much in my ten years of working here.

Pros

I’ve been with Twining, Inc. for over 11 years, and it’s truly been a rewarding experience from start to finish. This is a company that values hard work, integrity, and people — not just as employees, but as individuals with lives and goals outside of work. Twining provides opportunities to grow and learn at every stage. I’ve had the chance to work on a wide variety of construction and engineering projects across California, each one adding to my experience and confidence. The managers and leadership team are approachable, professional, and always willing to mentor and support your career development. The environment is fast-paced but collaborative. There’s a strong sense of teamwork between the field, lab, and office, and everyone takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality results. The company culture encourages problem-solving, accountability, and celebrating wins — big or small. After more than a decade, I can honestly say Twining has been more than just a job — it’s been a career I’m proud of and a community I value. Pros: Great leadership, career growth opportunities, diverse project experience, teamwork, stability, and supportive environment.

Cons

Cons: Workload can be demanding at times, but it’s balanced by strong teamwork and a sense of purpose.
