Pros

Really good communication/management and overall process for a team that's largely remote. Company's reputation/history is strong and established in a relatively niche part of the construction industry. Sets you up for success. Convenient free parking if you fly out of LGB.

Cons

The Long Beach office is in the same building as the FBI so I've had to forgo my potential supervillain arc in order to keep a low profile.

Pros

The best part of working here is how supportive the management team is. Open-minded, ready for new ideas, they provide all needed support and cheers for the ambitions of the employees. This in my opinion is one of the most important things an employer can offer.

Cons

Not much in my ten years of working here.

Pros

I’ve been with Twining, Inc. for over 11 years, and it’s truly been a rewarding experience from start to finish. This is a company that values hard work, integrity, and people — not just as employees, but as individuals with lives and goals outside of work. Twining provides opportunities to grow and learn at every stage. I’ve had the chance to work on a wide variety of construction and engineering projects across California, each one adding to my experience and confidence. The managers and leadership team are approachable, professional, and always willing to mentor and support your career development. The environment is fast-paced but collaborative. There’s a strong sense of teamwork between the field, lab, and office, and everyone takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality results. The company culture encourages problem-solving, accountability, and celebrating wins — big or small. After more than a decade, I can honestly say Twining has been more than just a job — it’s been a career I’m proud of and a community I value. Pros: Great leadership, career growth opportunities, diverse project experience, teamwork, stability, and supportive environment.

Cons

Cons: Workload can be demanding at times, but it’s balanced by strong teamwork and a sense of purpose.
