Pros
- Really great, talented and nice people - so a lot of people to learn and develop from, to get surprising ideas that you didn't think about, and in general people are very nice to each other and happy to assist - Ability to make a lot of impact - on one hand the company is large enough to affect billions of users and 10s of thousands of businesses (for good or for bad), and on the other hand the company is small enough so a product manager can actually influence and interface with top executives on a daily manner - Company is very growth minded - a lot of growth brings a lot of opportunities - Very little politics - the company management is allergic to internal politics and it shows. Decisions are being made on the merit and logic/data - A lot of data and clients, together with data and experimentation culture - results in ability to test product hypothesis efficiently
Cons
- Sometimes its hard to get resources for something that was not planned, especially for emerging product opportunities
