Pros
. Really smart people who are all genuinely nice . Not a lot of politics at all . Good culture . Leadership seems to like each other and tries to do the right thing
Cons
. RSU’s are nowhere near the tech industry average - not even close, so don’t come to Taboola thinking you’ll be rewarded like a Trade Desk or Google. You’ll get maybe one tenth of what the tech industry typically offers. . After hours and weekend email traffic is terrible - which goes against the cultural aspect - so you have to be comfortable ignoring it - but that doesn’t stop the chimes on your cell phone on a Saturday or Sunday evening letting you know someone on your team is pinging you. They need to stop that, or change their cultural statement . The company can be cheap - beyond being fiscally conservative it comes across as “you don’t deserve it” or “we just don’t feel like paying it” when most people have been at other companies where those things are standard. . Almost no diversity in senior management - the Israeli team is almost exclusively white men. Not sure of global VP numbers but Taboola is about 15-20 years behind on diversity hiring at the senior level.
