Pros

The company as a whole is very motivating and rewarding. While working here, I felt that I was part of something truly special. I worked in customer support and we were always included in the decisions made within the company. The atmosphere in the office is very relaxed and friendly. Plus, there are dogs everywhere! There was a lot of learn for the job role and it would have been easy to feel swamped. However, with weekly one-on-one meetings and team meetings every day, I never felt that I couldn't get advice when needed. My team leaders were fabulous to work with. Overall, a very wonderful company to work for! Plus, the costumers are lovely and I always felt that I was making a positive difference. This is a company where you can grow as a professional and make a positive impact. My only reason for leaving was that a dream job was literally handed to me out of the blue. I would happily return to tails.com if my circumstances changed.

Cons

As a growing company there are a growing number of customers. Occasionally I felt that I did not have enough time to give each customer the level of advice I would have liked. I felt that tails.com was special due to how personal we were with customers. However, I worried that with the increased level of work, we would lose our personal touch.

Pros

Working for a company offers steady income, benefits, and a built-in team, along with structure and chances to grow your skills and career.

Cons

Working for a company offers steady income, benefits, and a built-in team, along with structure and chances to grow your skills and career. On the flip side, you trade away some control over your time and decisions, deal with office politics and bureaucracy, and face limits on flexibility and earning potential. It’s a balance of security and structure versus autonomy and upside.
