Pros
- Great office in Lisbon - Working hours flexibility - Easy to work remotely - New and detailed career plan - Good overall mood and environment - Easy work/life balance - Great range of skills and expertise in a great variety of teams that share their knowledge, being it on a daily work basis or in meetups or TGIFs. It's easy to feel that we learn something new everyday.
Cons
- There is some pressure to accept part of the salary as "expenses" - In general the environment and mood are very cool, but the COO is not great. I can't assess his technical skills or accomplishments but, in general, employees are not fond of him: arrogant, causes a lot of discomfort, points fingers, often cancels meetings or simply doesn't show up, imposes decisions lightly. - A lot of people leaving and new hires in the last months which means teams are always changing. It's not critical but it creates some instability and we have to adapt quickly. - Budget for necessary business trips are very tight and take too long to get approved by management (at least for Lisbon - Porto tech employees mobility), which is a little bit incongruous - The office is great but is getting packed and noisy - It seems to be a disconnection between C-level and the technical teams, some decisions are very business oriented
